I hoped once but saw more

Assignment Submission for BPSY361 AI for Psychology

I hoped to find a way to forget them all,

But never did I once seem to lose it all.

The rights and wrongs fought for control,

But which one wins is not my control.

I saw the discourage and the loneliness in him,

Fighting to overcome the complications.

Buried his feeling under what was seen,

And expressions under whom he wasn’t.

I saw it, others didn't, the loneliness and the sorrow.

Minute by minute his insanity swelled in his head.

He saw the hope behind his smile, the false sorrow behind

His anger and the reason behind it all.

I saw a narrow hallway filled with his dreams.

His untouchable chances, his unseeable choices

I saw it through him, his insides fighting for control

And for that

I’m a lonely figure

Seeking around for neither life nor hopes and dreams.
