Teaching English through Technology
This article talks about how can people improve their english speaking skills through technology mainly focusing on the rural area and in this 21st CE, most of us are using technology and how we can benefit through technology.
There are various video games and apps which helps people to improve language.
Some games are:
1.Ages of empires
2.Project IGI
3. Farm house
Some Apps:
1.Sentence maker

NEW TEACHER'S CHALLENGES As we are going to join teaching profession soon it is better to be aware about challenges we will be facing in first few years of teaching profession. Studies suggested that 14% of new teachers leave the school and 15 % of new teachers leave the profession at all in the first two years. Students also face burn outs of being taught by new teacher as it is reported that student's performance reduced in the classrooms of first year teachers. The major three challenges faced by new teacher are 1)classroom management 2) lack of guidance regarding preparing unit and lesson plan as they don't have experience which will work in classrooms 3)not getting constructive support from colleagues and school staff put them on extra stress as they have been already struggling with multitasking. I hope this small information will help all the prospective teachers to equip and prepare for this upcoming endeavour. http://www.ascd.org/publications/educational-leadership/may12/vol69/num08/New-Teachers-Face-Three-Common-Challenges.aspx
Be a professional.
Being a "professional" is something that I have developed over the past year. I also realized that a degree or a qualification doesn't make you a professional, it is the attitude combined with the effort that you put into your work. I also realized that it is the small things like checking your email, organising your work or just arriving on time. In simple words being professional is respecting the job, the people you work with and your environment.

Art and mental health
Creativity and recovery can go hand in hand. Art is the window of expression. Art can be a very relaxing way to deal and cope up with the stress in life. Art is a way to express oneself it provides peace and calmness to a person. It is a form of expression where an individual can express oneself in any way. Certain feelings and emotions can be better explained with art than by writing or talking. Therefore, art therapy can be very useful in treating various mental health issues like depression, anxiety etc.
Art therapy can be used in schools for various reasons. It is a form of expressing oneself visually. Art therapy doesn't really require a therapist neither does it require a specific place or technique. Expressing yourself through art can be soothing or difficult. It may be difficult to express yourself through art just the way it is expressing through speech. Therefore it is important that you resort to Art therapy only when you are comfortable. Having a therapist will enable her/him to guide you through the therapy based on your needs.
Art therapy is best for people who feel overwhelmed or pressure. Art gives time to slow down and think about an issue. Since the focus of this form is therapy in not to become a great artist it is not necessary that the end result is perfect. If you have the willingness to experiment this is the best form of therapy. It is helpful in reducing anxiety, depression, PTSD etc. it reduces stress and anxiety and develops self esteem.

Teachers are being observed
The students observe constantly every behavioral aspect of the teacher. The students often observe the teachers and they imitate what the teacher does and they learn even the life style of their teachers. Thus the teachers need to be aware of the fact that they are being observed by their students and they need to act in the way they want their children to grow. The students tend to work hard in the subjects of the teacher they like most
Kinesthetic learners
Kinesthetic learners are the ones who learn things through physical activities rather than watching or listening to the classroom lectures.
These learners find difficult to fit themselves in the traditional classroom as they are more energetic and enthusiastic towards their approach of learning. They tend to learn through active participation. These learners make use of their hands and eyes to interact and deliver their content.

Benefits of Co-Curricular Activities to Academic Performance
During Internship one of the school processes was very impressive. The school gives importance for the extra- curricular for the students of their interest. The school practices every day and the last 2 class which was dedicatedly given to it. This made the students to be regular to school. They were active and enthusiastic throughout the day. They were learning very quickly due to daily practice. It also made them to think creatively.
An article named also supports the practice with various benefits as
The benefit of co-curricular activities helps to learn to manage their time effectively, develop relationship skills and become creative decision maker. Peer and family factors were the most students recognize which co-curricular activity is beneficial to improve their academic performance.
Students recognize which co-curricular activity is beneficial to improve their academic performance.
It enhances the students’ involvement in the learning process with the help of students peer group. The parents were encouraged to support more their children to take part in co-curricular activities not just to improve their grades also their skills and attitudes. Future researchers may conduct similar studies using other variables.

Developing Students’ Mathematical Reasoning through Game
To begin with, I would like to quote an example of a strategy that I tried in my internship and it did work for me. I taught statistics through a game called “BINGO” and it worked very well. Student actively participated in learning mean, median, mode and range through game and they enjoyed in exploring. As a teacher I am really fascinated, I always wanted to teach math through games and activities and here’s the article which supports the same.
The author explains in this article how student can develop mathematical reasoning through various games. Author states that everyone like to play games irrespective of ages and in this article author explains different games which can be organized in classroom to teach mathematics facts and numbers according to their age groups. For first-grade and Kindergarten students author explains how a game called “Make 10” helped them to learn mathematics facts. In this game the children work together to make number pairs using deck of cards. Author speaks about what are the other games which can be played in primary and intermediate secondary school levels. Engaging mathematical games will encourage students to explore on number combination, place value, patterns and other mathematical concepts. The article also talks about three Ps (P- Plan, P- Play & P – Please be patient) which is important for the teacher before conducting the game. Plan - First the teacher need to plan how he/she is going to introduce the game. Play - After introducing teacher need to walk round the room and probe questions and response to students. Patient – Provide repeated opportunity to students to play the games repeatedly till their understood the concept. Author advices the teacher before choosing the game first play the game with your family members to understand the rules and also discuss the mathematical idea which is embedded in the game. Author concludes stating games are fun and it develops student’s mathematical reasoning. It helps students to understand their pace why some of their peers respond soon and encourages to compare different strategy. Through playing different games it helps student’s computational fluency and efficient strategies to relate with their number facts. As teacher we should create opportunity for students to explore mathematical ideas through different games,
Bilingual Education
